NT: LITTLE IMPORTANT ISSUE.

Errrm, ok. I would like to ask you something… You see, I’ve been usin «It» as a «Neutral-Gender» pronoun, but, I was wondering if i can also use «They/Them» a one. I mean, i’ve seen that thing being used to refere to something/someone when it’s gender remains unkow a few times already, so… well, that, ¿can i use that? ¿Is it ok or is not ok to use that pronoun as a Neutral Gender-Pronoun? I mean, they/them supose to be use to refere to more than one person, so… ughh.. that… Ok, yep, thats all i wanted to ask. Now, READ.

「Kagami-san… what did you do now? What did you do to… be called Disappointing Hero•Eiyû•?」

「That Villager died a long time ago」

Everyone stopped when they heard the hard words spoken by Mary. In response to their reaction, Yuki, with a worried look on her face, also stopped, on the other hand, Mary raised a hand over her head in regret as she let out a sigh.

「Ah… my bad. You knew that Villager, didn’t you? I’m sorry if my words sounded a bit rude, but it’s true. That Villager died over half a year ago」

「Do you mean Kagami-san? That Kagami-san that was as hard to kill as a cockroach?」

「A cockroach… It is impossible for a Villager to be that resistant」

Tina, who in her head saw Kagami as a being identical to cockroaches, said again and again, 「No, it can’t be」, unable to believe what Mary had just said.

Mary, who began to worry about Tina after seeing her reaction, tried to approach her to comfort her, however, she was blocked by Krull, who with a sore look put her hands on Mary’s shoulders.

「I find it hard to believe that Kagami-san died easily… would you mind telling us what happened?」

「… We got quite excited when he arrived, since he was the first person to come to Earth in a long time, but it turned out to be a disappointment when we discovered that he was just a villager. Although, well… it’s not like we haven’t got a little excited, you know. It was the first time that a Villager of Earth Clear I came to Earth after all」

Mary said, in a cheerful tone of voice, as she remembered how she felt back then. However, as she remembered that time, his gaze began to darken and then, after releasing a sigh, she put her hand on Krull’s shoulder.

「But it was worse than we thought. Although he did managed to reach Earth, he was still a simple Villager, so he needed equipment to fight, but when we offered him a weapon, he rejected it saying, 「I can fight with my bare hands」, and the worst of all is that he didn’t even bother to listen to the Captain’s orders despite the desperate situation we were in… and that brought him to his end」

「… What happened?」

Alice asked, with an agitated look, as she approached Krull to hear what had happened to Kagami.

「At first, he just ignored the Captain’s orders and refused to fight, but suddenly he felt motivated and ran straight to the enemy without thinking… But it was just at the moment that we had managed to attract the enemy to the trap we had prepared. Things could have been different if I could have told him about our plan beforehand, but…」

「You mean… that he fell into the trap?」

「Yes. Possibly it was because he didn’t know anything about the plan, but it showed a completely surprised and bewildered expression at the moment it happened. In the end, he end up being surrounded by the trap next to the enemy. The fact that a Hero•Eiyû•  died in his first battle was already disappointing by itself, but that he himself jumped to his own death was too much」

Even after hearing what had happened, everyone still felt confused and unable to believe what they had just heard. Then Tina said, 「I already knew he was an idiot, but this…」, while thinking that he was not the type of person who would die for something like that.

「Why do you say something like that?」

Yuki, who didn’t know how to react at what was happening right now, could only show an awkward smile while laughing, 「Hahaha…」.

「I don’t know what kind of trap he was involved in… but I don’t think it was enough to kill Kagami-chan」

「I don’t know what are you thinking, but the Digders•Relic•  are weapons capable of producing explosions so powerful that it could even kill a Monster with just one hit. There is no way he could survive that, and even if he somehow made it, he should have been buried alive」

Even after hearing that, Menou remained unable to believe that Kagami, whom he saw endure the countless attacks of the Dark Dragon without problems, could have been killed by something like that.

「I don’t think so… If it’s true that in Earth we can show the same power we had in Earth Clear, then I can hardly imagine that Kagami-chan could have died so easily… Kagami-chan level was 999 after all, you know?」

「Eh? What?」

Said Yuki, bewildered, and believing that she had definitely heard what Takako had just said wrong.

「It is true! Kagami-san was a Level 999! It is impossible for him to be easily killed! He is the type of person who always manages to get out alive, no matter how bad the situation he is in seems to be!」

While seeing Tina, who was desperately trying to explain the kind of person Kagami was, Mary and Yuki looked at each other, and then burst out laughing.

「Don’t joke! It is impossible, don’t think that you can deceive us… or maybe you misunderstood his level and it actualy was 99? Level 999… is the growth limit, you know? Do you know how difficult it is to level up for the Villagers? It is impossible that he has reached that level」

Yuki, who had been laughing loudly, began to writhe on the floor because of the pain she felt for laughing so much. At the same time, believing she had understood something, she said, 「I thought something strange was happening… but it was just this」, while completely discarding the possibility that Kagami really was strong.

「Bu-But it’s true!」

Alice joined Tina and tried to convince them that they were telling the truth.

「But he’s already dead. In fact that Disappointing Hero•Eiyû• has not returned in six months. Why hasn’t he returned if he is still alive? It doesn’t matter if he was a strong Hero•Eiyû• or not… he’s not here anymore」

Alice and Tina were speechless after seeing Mary’s serious gaze.

「Also, do you think you have the freedom to be worrying about that Disappointing Hero•Eiyû•? The outside world is a severe place… and there is no guarantee that you will come back alive from there. Of course, we will do our best to support you, but… If you ignore the orders, it will be your end, so guys… do not disappoint us」

After saying that, Mary began to walk again towards the place where the Resistance’s Headquarters were without saying any other word.

Then, Yuki said, 「Hmm… sorry for laughing」, awkwardly, as she began to walk behind Mary.

「… Lets go. We will not earn anything by staying here」

After Takako said that, everyone else, still unable to believe that Kagami was killed by a simple trap, began to walk in the direction were Resistance’s Headquarters, the place where Kagami had remained for some time, supposed to be.
