It took the group about an hour to reach the surface.
The exit to the surface was covered by a large lockable iron door. After opening the door, which was as heavy as a safe, the group found themselves in an abandoned house surrounded by rubble. After confirming that everyone had already come out, Kagami closed the door and moved some rubble pieces to hide it.
「Make sure to be very careful now that we are here. The strength of the Races of this world is not something to be taken lightly. Especially that of the Eaters 」

More and more explosions began to be heard in the distance, giving the impression that a battle was being waged somewhere. Palna, with sweat on her forehead, asked Kagami that the moment the situation changed like that.

Immediately after, Kagami started running towards the source of the explosions. Then, Takako, judging that it was not time to stay still, took Mary and Tina, who had the lowest physical conditions, and began to run after Kagami along with the others.
